No matter what your plans are, it's never too early to start planning for a standout wardrobe! Take a look at these Memorial Day outfits, perfect for any occasion that comes your way!

Dressy Outdoor Dinner

If you plan on gathering for a slightly more dressy outdoor dinner to celebrate this unofficial start to summer, then you might want to opt for this gorgeous tiered dress. It has flowy flutter sleeves and breezy gauze-like fabric. And, if you find old-fashioned rules interesting, you're finally allowed to wear white now that it's Memorial Day! Dress it up with some simple hoop earrings and a minimalist necklace. Add a pair of white sandals and you're good to go!

Casual Weekend at the Lake

There's nothing quite like those relaxing lake days! If your Memorial weekend destination is the lake, then here are some great options to get you through. Pack these distressed denim shorts and sleeveless striped top for daytime, throw in this cool tie-dye long dress for night, and a cozy sweatshirt in case it gets chilly. And don't forget a pair of super comfortable shoes that will help your feet navigate the various terrain you encounter.

Backyard BBQ Party

Probably one of the most common ways to celebrate Memorial Day weekend is with the famous backyard barbeque and there's nothing wrong with that! We love celebrating with family and friends around fire and good food! This is usually a lowkey type of gathering, so keep it simple and festive with this bleached America graphic tee, a pair of patched cut-off shorts, and canvas sneakers. Top it off with a ballcap and you're ready for some burgers and beer!

Family Picnic & Fireworks

Lots of local cities host amazing Memorial weekend fireworks. Make an entire day of it with an afternoon picnic, games in the park, and some sightseeing before the nighttime display. All you need for this casual day of fun is a simple sleeveless top, a cute pair of shorts, and comfy sandals. This ruffled top can be tied in a side knot for extra style and paired with these cute dandelion embroidered shorts. Bring along this adorable straw tote for necessities and pack a cardigan in case it gets breezy.

A Trip to the Beach

Like anyone really needs an excuse to go to the beach, but just in case you do, this extended weekend is the perfect reason to find your way to sun and sand. Make sure you're prepared with the right gear! A pair of easy slide-on sandals is a beach must, along with this striped sleeveless dress to throw on over your swimsuit. Or, you opt for these lightweight drawstring shorts to wear when not in the water. Make sure to bring a Simply Southern beach tote! They're waterproof, easily washable, and large enough to carry everything you'll need.

Brunch Date with Friends

Are you starting off your celebrations early with a brunch date? Brunch is a perfect way to kick off the weekend. There are tons of great options for this casual meal with friends. This sleeveless drawstring dress is perfect for the occasion. Pair it with some statement earrings and neutral-colored sandals for a quick out-the-door look. The best part about can easily dress it up or down depending on where you're meeting up!

A Day of Paying Respects

And last, but certainly not least, is the true reason we celebrate Memorial Day, as so many spend time paying their respects. This special day was established to honor and remember all of the soldiers who have lost their lives in battle defending our country. Pair this bleached USA graphic tee with these cuffed blue jeans for a respectful look, along with comfortable slip-on mules easy for walking about. Tie the look together with a knotted headband and white wood circle earrings.
